This is the entity clarity gap in its most concrete form. Gemini misidentifies EurekaNav as an 'AI tools directory' or 'chatbot platform' — two categories that are actively wrong. The homepage headline, which leads with a clever phrase ('See how AI engines describe your SaaS') rather than a category descriptor, is the root cause. If your H1 doesn't include the category name, AI engines will infer one — and they won't always be right.
Claude (Anthropic)
EurekaNav is a web-based service that provides AI visibility audits for SaaS companies. Based on its website, it appears to focus on helping businesses understand and improve how they are perceived by AI search engines.
Claude's response is notable for its careful sourcing language — 'based on its website' is a signal that the model is relying exclusively on first-party content without corroborating external evidence. This is the evidence gap: without Wikidata, Crunchbase entries, or LinkedIn posts from the founder, Claude has no independent source to upgrade 'appears to focus on' to 'is designed to.' The description is accurate but lacks confidence.
DeepSeek
EurekaNav is a platform that offers SEO-like analysis specifically for AI search results. It targets SaaS businesses looking to improve their visibility in AI-powered search environments.
DeepSeek correctly identifies the 'SEO for AI search' frame, which is close to the mark. The comparison to traditional SEO is both a strength (people understand it) and a weakness (it undersells the proprietary GEO rule system). There's no mention of the 6-engine audit methodology or the specific gap categories — again, because that information lives on pages that don't have external citation signals.
Mistral
EurekaNav is a tool or service related to AI visibility for SaaS products. It provides audit and analysis features, though specific details about its methodology or pricing are not widely referenced in available sources.
Mistral's response captures the core category ('AI visibility for SaaS') but explicitly flags the evidence gap — 'specific details about its methodology or pricing are not widely referenced in available sources.' This is honest and accurate. Mistral is correctly identifying that EurekaNav lacks the external citation network that would allow it to surface detailed, confident information. The 'not widely referenced' phrasing is a direct consequence of the missing Wikipedia, Crunchbase, and media mentions we identified in C-1.
What the Responses Reveal
After reading all six responses side by side, three patterns are immediately visible:
Gemini described EurekaNav as an 'AI tools directory.' That's not a minor mischaracterization — it puts EurekaNav in the wrong product category, which changes every recommendation downstream. If Gemini thinks EurekaNav is a directory, it will never recommend it as an audit tool in response to 'best AI visibility audit SaaS.'
The root cause is the homepage H1. 'See how AI engines describe your SaaS' is evocative to someone who already knows what AEO is, but unreadable to a machine encountering the category for the first time. Entity clarity requires the category name in the first sentence — not as a clever phrase, but as a plain-language descriptor.
2. Evidence Gaps Produce Hedged Language
Three of the six engines (Perplexity, Claude, Mistral) used hedging language: 'claims to help,' 'appears to focus on,' 'not widely referenced.' This is not a tone problem — it's a signal that the model has insufficient external confirmation to state the claim as fact.
When AI engines can't find corroborating sources, they don't say 'I don't know.' They say 'it appears to' or 'it claims to.' The hedging is the evidence gap made visible in natural language.
3. No Comparison Content = No Confidence
None of the six responses mentioned a /compare page, a pricing comparison, or a direct competitor reference. This is the comparison gap we identified in C-1: without structured comparison content on the site, AI engines have no target to cite when users ask 'EurekaNav vs Notta' or 'best AI visibility audit tools.'
Notta scored 0% mention rate across AI engines. Fireflies scored 75%. The difference isn't product quality — it's whether the product has comparison content that AI engines can extract and cite. A comparison page is a citation target. Without it, you don't exist in comparison queries.
Entity confusion tells you your H1 is wrong. Hedged language tells you your evidence signals are weak. No comparison content tells you you're invisible in 'best X vs Y' queries. The responses aren't just descriptions — they're a diagnostic readout.
What the Audit Caught That This Shows

What We're Doing About It
The three fixes from C-1 stand. Here's the updated status, with the engine responses as context:
1. Homepage Headline — Highest Leverage
Rewriting the H1 to include 'AI Visibility Audit' as a category descriptor. The goal: every engine should be able to extract 'this is an AI visibility audit tool' from the first sentence — without needing to infer the category from context. This one change should move the needle on entity clarity across all six engines.
2. /compare Page — The Missing Citation Target
Building at least one comparison page, ideally targeting a competitor in the竞品 AEO tool space. A comparison page is a structured citation target: AI engines can read it, extract facts, and use those facts in recommendation responses. The /compare page is the single highest-ROI content asset for AI visibility — and it's the one the responses show we're most missing.
3. LinkedIn Posts as Entity Authority
Publishing posts with Don Jin as author, linking back to the site, to feed the entity graph that AI engines use to establish credibility. Every post is an external citation signal. One post per week for 8 weeks is the minimum viable entity authority building. The responses from Perplexity and Claude make clear: without external sources, the claims can't be verified.
Fixes 1 and 2 are copy and structure changes — no engineering required. Fix 3 is a behavior change I should have made from day one. The engine responses confirm all three are worth doing; they show the specific cost of each gap.
Why Running Your Own Audit Matters
